Overview Of Moto Z :

Developed my Motorola Mobility “Moto Z” was launched on 9th June 2016. Definitely the aim was to try to furnish this smartphone as there iconic product, but with the android war going on was Moto Z up for the battle? Has it satisfied its consumers and with which improvements? Lets find out what Motorola has rendered us and itself.

Motorola made certain changes in Moto Z which make it stand out from the rest of its products, number one being it incredibly thin (5.19 mm), Yes folks it has beaten iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus . Moto Z is not only super thin its also ‘modular’ with fresh transformation features that make you fall head over heals for it. Its Stylish shells being one of the transformations letting you modify your phone to the style which suits you the most. The beautiful premium backs with different colors , fabric and textures make it stand out. The second most prominent feature of Moto Z is its add-on’s or “Moto Mods”; Swappable accessories include Hasselblad True Zoom, Projector, and JBL SoundBoost.

Moto Z’s design is a thin, flat boxy body with a stainless steel frame and an excluded headphone jack. However having no headphone jacks give it a slightly nude and bare look. Even though the phone is extremely thin and comfortable to hold its design does have some flaws. The fingerprint sensor isn’t all that well built, its square like shape takes up more space than required and even worse. For the first few days it might even be mistaken for the home button, because of its size and protruding look. Another flaw is that having only a USB-C Port and an adapter for the headphones you cant charge your phone while listening to music.

Moto Z’s modular add-on accessories are pretty hot, the key points making it worth buying. The Moto Mods provide an interesting architectural intelligent way to modify the phone. Lets talk about them one by one ..

Hasselblad True Zoom:

Its an attachable camera which transforms the phone to a real camera. It houses a 10x Hasselblad zoom lens which gives amazing details and it has its own 12 MP, 1/ 2.3” CMOS sensors. Attachment of the lens to the phone is extremely easy since it uses magnetic attachments all you have to do is snap it on and your True zoom is ready for use. Physical shutter buttons and power buttons are used once you get the hang of it you can have the experience of a real camera. It seems like the camera is made to take distant pictures, they have better picture quality as compared to close ups.

Insta-Share Projector:

The insta projector can shoot anything displayed on its screen pictures or videos up to 70 inches distance before distortion. The built-in kickstand helps you to make your pictures/ videos more effective. Anything on screen can be projected on any wall or ceiling of any texture and.

JBL SoundBoost:

The Moto Z delivers magnificent audio, the speakers are loud and clear. Its another expensive addition along with the Hasselblad True Zoom,  its quiet chunky looking but works amazing. Its also magnetically attached to the phone, though it takes a little struggle to use this mode while holding it in the hand, its better left alone. The kickstand helps you to change tracks while listening to music without having you pick up the phone. The 3W drivers installed in the SoundBoost give out a perfectly clear and load audio. JBL SoundBoost contains a 1000 mAh battery and will last up to 10 hours, it houses its own battery so that the phones battery will be saved.

Overall the key features making this phone stand out is its Modular add-on’s and its thin body. The design is bland but not necessarily ugly, in fact its attractive with its stylish shell covers. If you want the real camera experience and the exiting projector then this is your cup of tea.
