Overview Of Huawei P10 LITE:

China has started to step into manufacturing Smartphones Huawei, is also a Chinese  telecommunication company which architects Android smartphones and tablets. Huawei P10 LITE is another achievement of the company released in February 2017  which is a successor of the P10 and P10 Plus. This handset easily affordable considering other high end android smartphones, it costs half the price of P10.

Huawei P10 LITE is yet another well built phone completely made from glass and metal, users of Huawei will notice that the design is almost the same as its predecessors, having the same cuts and edges. The chassis are aluminium and the sides and edges are smoothly curved and rounded off. P10 LITE is shipped in four color options midnight black, platinum gold, sapphire blue and pearl white. It does in fact look and feel like a high end device, given a 5.2 inch full HD display and a thickness of 7.2 mm.

On the left side of the phone are the slots for the SIM and microSD, The right side contains the power button and above the power button lies the volume rocker. There’s also the IR blaster, MicroUSB port, a 3.5 mm headphone port and at the bottom is housed a mono speaker. This time the fingerprint scanner is placed on the back side where it is easier to reach, because that’s a natural place for fingers to fall while gripping the phone.

The device has a full HD IPS LCD display with a pixels resolution of 1920 x 1080, that’s a thumbs up for gaming and videos, the bezels on the screen are not too prominent so in reference to the price of this handset obviously the display is great. But of course there are other reasons for the low cost, including the  chipset and reduction in some features and specifications. The chipset used is Kirin 658 as compared to P10’s 960 chipset. The performance is still kept fluid by pulling off the Android 7.0 nougat operating system and the EMUI interface. P10 Lite is stocked with a 4 GB RAM with 32 GB internal storage, featured with expandable storage of 128 GB. The battery used is 3100 mAh with fast charging making the handset meet all high ends.

Unfortunately the handset is missing the Leica Camera which was so cherished in the P10, there is an ordinary 12 megapixel rear camera with an aperture of f/2.2. It shoots realistic pictures, showcasing beautiful colors (the color reproduction is amazing), not leaving out any details. The pictures taken in the daylight are much more brighter and vibrant, but we cant say that the camera gives up  in dimly lit conditions because it still takes shots without any interference of noise. The phones lacks image stabilization so capturing moving objects is not an option, this isn’t much help in the video compartment either (besides that you can shoot full HD videos which actually come out looking good). The front 8 megapixel camera takes decent pictures and selfies, so overall the camera is good to go for a high end device.

Overall the Huawei P10 LITE is a decent device, loaded with decent amount of specs and features. The build quality isn’t that astonishing but it feels pretty solid and the design is clean. The camera works wonderfully and the phone is stocked with a large battery and expandable storage, for half the price of P10 this phone is awesome.
